Dead Rising 2

Anyone play the new Dead Rising? My brother lent it to me recently and I started playing it. Needless to say, the gallons of blood irk me, but it's a pretty decent game. I like combining items to create better weapons.

So far, I'm at the part where.... *SPOILER*



I'm about to get to TK at the hotel.

I'm still on the fence about trying this. Would you say it's worth a play?

If you've never played Dead Rising 1, definitely. It's an experience. If you HAVE played Dead Rising 1, the formula doesn't change TOO much. Still on 72 hours, but I think there's overtime. Also, in this one, you can combine a ton of stuff into new weapons, so it's interesting to explore that.

If you enjoy killing zombies in general, I'd say go for it. If you're looking for an ultra deep story, this might come up as a bit shallow, but there IS a story, so don't let that scare you away.

I think it's okay.
